Lakshadweep Islands
Lakshadweep, meaning "a group of one thousand islands," is a stunning territory comprising 36 islands, including 12 atolls, three reefs, and five submerged banks. Among these, only 10 islands are inhabited. Despite its vast lagoon area of 4,200 km, the total land surface of these islands is just 32 km, highlighting their secluded nature.
These islands are famous for their pristine, untouched beaches lined with swaying coconut palms and crystal-clear waters that shimmer in shades of turquoise, sapphire, and lapis lazuli. The vibrant coral reefs here offer an unforgettable experience for divers, making Lakshadweep a true paradise for nature lovers and adventure seekers.
